  1. I once had a boss who’d say “perception is reality”, to which I’d reply “who’s reality?”  He never got the joke.  But I think that is the crux of the issue –which collective belief system takes precedence at any given moment?  And what is it about “reality” that eventually results in that belief system breaking down?  I ponder this every time I see those pyramids in Egypt, or the skyscrapers of modern civilization.  How long before collectively we begin to see them as equally quaint and archaic?

  2. @Adriang He isn’t special to you? You are right. Its all how you perceive it. Were you paying attention? I perceive probably not so much. Someone reading this in the near future will perceive it different than both of us.

  4. Superb documentary, extremely enjoyable…the world needs more Bob’s. This doc made me feel very optimistic…you can’t beat a bit of wisdom. Hey Dufus with the playstation problem if X and O don’t work then maybe you shouldn’t press them…

  6. For instance, after I launch Dissidia and get to the start menu and choose to load a save file, I’m inclined to push X to select the save file, but that cancels the load operation instead and have to use O in place. If I choose to hit ‘home’ and load back into the XMB, it requires that I use O to select that. But as soon as I get back to the XMB, it reverts back to the normal configuration.
